Hare: Broken Boner

The pack was Rear Ender Tu, K.O., Too Drunk, and H.I.R. Mike. At a little after 7:30 Broken Boner disappeared into the brisk 20 degree night to lay a his trail live, with a seven minute head start. The trail led the hounds though residential streets and across I-90 (on a bridge) into Cleveland for a beer stop at Geppettos/O'Malley's Bar in the Warren Village Shopping Center. From there we followed trail past Impet Park back into Lakewood for a second beer stop at a bar on Madison Avenue whose name escapes me. Then it was just a half-dozen blocks or so down Madison and back to the Warren Tavern. The total trail length was about 3 1/2 miles. Grand Master Rear Ender Tu conducted his first ceremonies in fine fashion. All were honored: the hare, the FRB (H.I.R. Mike), the new GM, the ex- GM, and the other ex-GM. After we wolfed down some delicious buffalo wings it was around 11:30 and we departed to go to our homes to dream of more fine hashes such as this one.
